Simple Tahini Date Bites

Calling all caramel lovers! Delicious Paleo & keto energy protein bites. They are rich and delicious, you won’t believe it’s they are sugar free & grain free.

Equipment

  • Small bread pan
  • parchment paper
  • knife
  • food processor

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Dates medjool dates
  • 2 Tbsp Coconut Oil
  • 1/2 Cup Tahini
  • 1/2 tsp Cardamom
  • 1/8 tsp Himalayan Salt
  • 1/8 Cup finely ground Coconut for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Leave the salt aside and place all the ingredients in food processor or vita mix; start slow on variable speed to combine the slowly turn up until blended.
  • Pour into parchment lined small bread pan and smooth the top. Sprinkle salt on top.
  • Freeze for one hour.
  • Remove from freezer and pan. Transfer to a cutting board and slice into 14 pieces. sprinkle coconut and serve.

Notes

Dates are high is natural sugar so enjoy in moderation.
